I know there’s a lot going on in the fashion world in 2025 but, what’s worth wearing and why does it matter?
You see, fashion has evolved and nowadays, it’s about chasing trends and living in the moment.
But what cuts some people off is not knowing; what works for them, what does reflect the moment one is living in, what feels right for them or even what fits their body type.
My Ex had the best fashion looks that left me gagged for a second. This was in 2018 after beating acne with my skincare routine that I still use to update.
But this year’s fashion industry has the most compelling looks that are polished but unfussy, thoughtful but not overstyled.

I realized the other day that blazers are being cut with relaxed shoulders, then gently cinched waists offering without Stiffness.
The trouser suits especially those in Tobacco brown, Stale gray, have become day time staples and not only boardroom wear.
I think what people want to achieve here is BALANCE. Just imagine a clean tailoring paired with a ribbed knit or open-toe sandals makes it effortless and clean.
Monochrome , but with Texture
You know that wearing the same color from head to toe isn’t something new, but in 2025 it’s much less of matching but more of layering material.
My Ex used to wear a sand colored suede mini skirt then paired with a camel silk blouse plus a chunky oatmeal knit thrown over her shoulders.

Remember the boot error? Right! They are back in action just to spice up your fashion and get you on trend.
The boot of the moment, sock-like and sculptural. The knee high stretch boots come in buttery leathe or matte neoprene are replacing your clunky silhouettes of recent years
If you look at them keenly, they mould your legs, creating clean lines under mini skirts and tailored trousers.
I honestly don’t know WHY boots are back on women’s fashion trends in 2025, but it seems to be working for many ladies.

What used to evolve seasonally or gradually now has shifted to monthly or even faster.

How do I follow fashion trends without constantly buying new clothes?
Honestly, this is a big question people keep asking but here’s my simple answer,
You don’t need a new wardrobe upgrade or new clothes every weekend darling. The most important thing is to understand HOW to stay what you already own.
You selectively add a few well-chosen pieces of clothes that reflect the last trend.
